UPDATE 12.27.18 – feel free to look around, but please know that I abandoned this journal after 8 months. Here’s what I ended up doing instead!
People. I am ASHAMED of how many books I read in 2017. I’m not even going to tell you here because I’m too embarrassed, but it’s on my Instagram if you want to look. WAY TOO MANY. Let’s just say that it’s time for me to slow. the. heck. down. and process and reflect a little bit more. No more reading binges!
The solution? Well, my solution is a book journal. Not for writing deep thoughts, but for making me pause in between books and record what I read and process my overall reading habits.
Given that it’s New Year’s Eve and I have sparkling grape juice to drink, Doritos to eat, and board games to play while watching the ball drop, I’ll give this to you in pictures. Please ask questions in the comments and I would LOVE to hear any suggestions you may have!
Oh wait, one last thing. The best thing. I am going to be ordering STICKERS of my bookstagram pics and placing those in the journal for each book that makes it to my ‘gram……….I AM SO EXCITED!!!
HERE GOES………
Oh, and I couldn’t help but make a pouch to keep this guy in when out and about – I worked way too hard at it to let it get banged up 😉
LOVE it! Have a healthy and happy New Year!

This looks amazing! I already have one personal journal and two physical planners. But have been wanting to do a spreadsheet for my books! I may have to borrow some ideas!

There is no such thing as reading TOO MANY books! The journal is amazing, although far beyond my capabilities, I’m afraid. Happy 2018 Reading!
