2019 Nonfiction Reads That Changed Me

2019 Most Impact (1)

I made you all exactly ONE Best of 2019 list. I carved out time in my life to share the titles with you that I’ve texted friends and family saying, “OMG, you have GOT to read this!” and the titles I’ve thrown on colleagues’ desks with a note saying, “Trust me that you’ll want to make time for this!“.

These are the books I read in 2019 (not necessarily published in 2019) that have shaped the me I am today versus the me I was last year, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. My recommendation isn’t really about the writing – it’s about the content. These books have shaped my views on the mind, the world, and humanity in general. I feel like I’m a better citizen and human for having read these books ~ I hope you concur!

** Disclaimer: I received free review copies of three of these titles, but this had no impact on their inclusion in this list. Those titles were: Rising, On the Clock, and What the Eyes Don’t See.
